Ikseon-dong Gogijip
익선동고기집 · Seoul · Where to eat
Ikseon-dong Gogijip is a restaurant specializing in grilled pork, located in an Ikseon-dong Hanok Street in Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is about a 2-minute walk from Exit 6 of Jongno 3-ga Station and opened in July 2017. Staff members grill domestic pork belly, pork shoulder, and pork neck right at your table, and the signature combination is raw pork belly grilled with water dropwort. The Korean Pork Assortment Set includes pork belly, pork shoulder, and pork neck—600g for two people and 800g for three to four people—and the restaurant also serves short ribs, Wagyu sirloin, and kimchi stew. When you order meat, steamed egg custard, soybean paste stew, lettuce, pickled perilla leaves, and seasoned shredded green onions are served as standard sides. The interior features a traditional Korean hanok with exposed wooden beams and rafters, while the outdoor seating in the alley is lit by string lights; group seating is also available.
