About
The Uijeongbu was the highest council of the Joseon government, and its excavated site now forms a public historical plaza on Sejong-daero, a few minutes from Gwanghwamun. The programme staged here recreates yeolmu — the military review drills of the Samgunbu troops once garrisoned along this street of six ministries — alongside a chance to try seunggyeongdo, a Joseon board game about climbing the official ranks, and hands-on traditional martial arts. Free, and easy to fold into a day at the palaces, since it runs late morning to mid-afternoon.
