A play at Daehangno Theatre QUAD. On a train racing toward the tomb of the First Emperor outside Xi'an, a Korean man with a Chinese mother thinks about the terracotta army he is about to see and about a ruler who wanted to live forever. Set against that vast appetite for immortality are his own small, unanswered wants, above all a love that was never fully returned; a life lived at the margins looks at itself in front of the largest story it knows.
