About
Busan's main winter illumination, running along Gwangbok-ro in the old town from a countdown switch-on in early December through to late February. During the festival there is busking by Busan musicians, and public switch-on events where visitors light the trees themselves. Free, and directly connected to the Day 1 route in our Busan guide — Gwangbok-ro runs alongside BIFF Square and Gukje Market, so the illuminations are a natural way to end an afternoon in the old town.
