About
A new festival in the old coal-mining town of Sabuk in Jeongseon, held for the first time in 2026 to mark the opening of the M650 museum. It tells the story of the miners who powered Korea’s industrialisation through a large-scale themed performance built on their lives, programmes from the seven former coal-mining towns of the region, and hands-on activities about the mines. Events run around the new M650 museum, the Ppuri Hall and 650 Street. Free.
