About
A village-run flower festival in the Yongsugol valley outside Wonju, Gangwon. Residents plant and tend the fields themselves, and this fifth autumn edition runs for 13 days from 23 September to 5 October. Expect zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, sulphur cosmos, verbena, globe amaranth and asters, laid out in blocks by colour and variety. The programme is mostly about walking the fields and taking photographs, with a small market of local food and farm produce
The same valley holds a poppy festival in spring. Last entry 17:00.
