About
Hosted by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, this conference-and-festival pairing explores Seon (Zen) meditation as a tool for mental health, now in its third year. The 2026 theme is 'Seon Meditation in the Age of AI'. Alongside the conference sessions, a public meditation festival at Bongeunsa Temple lets visitors try various forms of Seon practice first-hand — in one of the few major temples standing directly across from Gangnam's COEX skyline.
