Yonsei University concert halls

연세대학교 대강당 · 백주년기념관 · Seoul

Two campus halls in Sinchon, ten minutes from Hongdae, for jazz, fan concerts and touring acts.

Yonsei is one of Korea’s oldest and best-known universities, and two of its buildings double as concert halls. The Grand Auditorium, about 1,600 seats, sits near the top of the main avenue; the Centennial Hall, about 800, is inside the main gate. Both host touring jazz and pop acts, K-pop fan concerts and classical recitals.

The campus, with its stone Underwood Hall and tree-lined avenue, is worth a walk before a show, and Sinchon and Hongdae around it are two of Seoul’s liveliest student districts.
