About
Gijang, on the coast just north of Busan, holds this small heritage festival around its old town fortress from 9 to 11 October 2026, on the lawn in front of the Gijang Modern History Museum and in the museum itself. The programme mixes performances, reading, film and hands-on activities: a music bar, a book concert, traditional folk performance, a dance challenge, a reading club and even a pet-video contest. Inside the museum there are pop-up craft workshops, a slow-down healing corner and docent-led walks along the fortress walls. Running all weekend are a charm-making corner, a 'pet rock' adoption booth and play zones for children
