About
Every September, millions of crimson spider lilies (sangsahwa) carpet the valley below Bulgapsa, a thousand-year-old temple on Bulgapsan Mountain. The 26th festival threads performances, exhibitions, and hands-on programs along the flower paths, with soft night lighting turning the fields into a second, quieter spectacle after dark. The flower — whose leaves and blossoms never meet — symbolizes impossible love, giving the walk its bittersweet undertone. Free, 10:00–21:00.
