About
Yanggu sits at the exact geographical centre of the Korean peninsula, and has turned that fact into a festival: baekbop means navel. The 2026 theme is 'Navel Log-in'. It is built around water — hybrid water games and events designed for hot weather — with a street parade, fireworks, nightly concerts and a concert by soldiers from the units stationed in this border county. Free to enter, with some activities charged
Yanggu is close to the DMZ, about three hours from Seoul.
