About
A dog-sports festival for citizens and their dogs on the Peace Plaza of World Cup Park in Sangam, 24 and 25 October. The 'Petlympic' events are designed for beginners as much as competitors: stay, recall, a cone slalom and a 15-metre sprint, plus a 4 km Dog Trail walk. Around them, agility, frisbee, dog dancing and flyball teams compete and demonstrate, and there are drop-in programmes, activity booths and rest areas for the whole day. Entry is free; the two Petlympic events and the Dog Trail each cost 40,000 won to enter.
