About
Korea’s only festival devoted to gwangeo, the olive flounder farmed off Jeju, held every October since 2016. Local fish farmers sell flounder sashimi, sushi, fish cakes, tteokbokki and pancakes at low prices, and there are hands-on events such as catching flounder by hand, a singing contest, a youth dance competition and a children’s drawing contest. Free entry.
