Taemin debuted with SHINee in 2008 as the youngest member and has since built a solo career that is taken seriously as dance performance in its own right — closer to a choreographed stage production than a pop concert. The LiMiNaL tour opens with three nights at Jamsil, the main stadium from the 1988 Olympics, which is a statement of scale for a solo artist.
