Paul Gilbert has been one of the reference points for technical rock guitar since Racer X in the 1980s, and Mr. Big made him famous well beyond guitar circles — "To Be With You" was a worldwide number one. He tours small venues by choice and the shows are part concert, part masterclass. The room here holds about 150 people.
