ELLEGARDEN formed in Chiba in 1998 and sang mostly in English, which is part of why they travelled as well as they did — 'Riot on the Grill' and 'ELEVEN FIRE CRACKERS' are still reference points for Japanese rock abroad. They went on hiatus in 2008, came back a decade later, and have been touring steadily since. Two nights here, and the ticket price is unusually reasonable for an international act.
