Designated as a national fishing port in 2008, Gungpyeong Port is famous for its beautiful sunset. It is a small port well equipped with a fish market offering fresh, delicious seafood. Visitors can enjoy fishing at the charming Fishing Pier, which attracts small boats and anglers. The Hwaseong Silk Road walking trail with wooden decks runs along the Hwaseong coastline, making it a beloved resting spot for walkers and hikers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The food truck street stretching toward the parking lot offers a variety of foods including famous fried shrimp, fried squid, fish cake, and hot dogs, and the Gungpyeong Port plaza opens a summer water playground, making it a great place for families to enjoy water play. ◎ Travel information to meet Hallyu’s charm - "Our Beloved Summer"The first and the last travel destination visited by Choi Ung and Kook Yeon-su. The ocean sunset, gentle waves, and the wooden deck over the water all come together to create a scenic view. Follow the coastal road for five minutes to reach the filming location.
