About
Samguk here is a pun: the three 'guk' of Yesan are gukbap (rice soup), guksu (noodles) and gukhwa (chrysanthemums). The festival takes over Yesan's permanent market, which has become one of the better-known market redevelopments in Korea. 2026 marks both the festival's tenth year and the market's hundredth, and the programme is built around food stalls, chrysanthemum displays and collaborations with young local makers.
