About
A Chuseok-holiday festival built around Samgang Jumak, the last surviving traditional riverside tavern in Korea, in Yecheon, North Gyeongsang. For three days from 25 to 27 September the Samgang cultural complex fills with costumed actors playing the pedlars, tavern keepers, hunters and merchants who once rested here on the river crossing. Join the pedlars' market square, quizzes about Samgang history, a slow-mail post box, and hands-on activities such as dalgona candy, shooting, spinning and hanbok. Local artists, buskers and children's shows perform, and a market sells regional produce, crafts and food.
