About
Excavations at Iseongsanseong, a hilltop fortress above Hanam, turned up a yogo — an hourglass drum, and the oldest percussion instrument found in Korea. The 2026 festival takes that drumbeat as its theme, 'Hanam's history, drumming toward the future', and links two sites: the fortress itself and Misa Lake Park down in the city where people actually spend their weekends. The programme is built for taking part rather than looking at — drumming, making, performances into the evening. Free.
