About
Hyo — filial devotion to one's parents and ancestors — is the organising idea of this festival, held in Ppuri Park, a hillside park in Daejeon planted with sculpted stones representing the origin of Korean family clans. Visitors can trace the history of a surname and its clan lineage, and the programme wraps that in traditional performances and hands-on activities aimed at getting several generations of a family taking part together. Free.
