About
Yangnyeongsi has been Daegu's herbal medicine market since 1658 — 367 years — and remains the largest in the country, a dense grid of streets where the smell of dried roots and bark carries for blocks. The festival opens the market up with traditional-medicine programmes, performances and hands-on sessions built around a time-slip theme. Entry is free; a few activities charge up to 3,000 won.
