Ko Ryeo-myeong: Podo
Sep 28, 2026 – Oct 26, 2026 · Seoul, Gangnam-gu
Ko Ryeo-myeong photographs the small world of objects too fine for the eye to catch, shooting them close up and printing them large. He still works with an analogue camera and a special film made for astronomical observation, which gives the prints a colour and texture ordinary photography does not have, and his compositions leave generous empty space so the eye settles on the subject. The Podo (grape) series, his best known, treats a single bunch of grapes as a small universe, completed with other materials and digital colouring.
