Jang Seung-taik: Layers of Perception

Soul Art Space presents Jang Seung-taik's Layers of Perception from 17 September to 17 November 2026. If a single colour field were a single note, Jang's canvases are closer to chords: from a distance each reads as one solid colour, but up close it separates into many colours, different densities and brightnesses, and the direction and spacing of repeated brushstrokes. The exhibition follows the fine differences and rhythms built up inside one colour, inviting you to sense its depth and resonance rather than simply look at it. Around twenty new works are shown, from large 130-ho canvases down to 50-ho.
